Pledge of Allegiance - Explained

In my house, we still watch Red Skelton. My kids love the characters portrayed by that lovable comedian. Red Skelton was also a conservative, who believed in protecting traditional family values in America. In 1969, Mr. Skelton was wont to speak out against the attacks on these values - attacks more virulent today than every.  Some of us may have forgotten what this pledge means - allow Red Skelton to explain it again.
